What is hypnosis? 

Simply put, hypnosis is an intentionally created lowered brainwave state (trance state) that makes the participant able to

accept positive suggestion.

What does hypnosis feel like? 

Most people describe it as a feeling of relaxed awareness.

What do you mean by "positive suggestion?"

During the intake portion of the session we will discuss what your goals are. "Positive Suggestions," are crafted directly from that conversation using the most appropriate language patterning techniques for your individualized session. 

Can hypnosis hurt me? 

No. During the course of any given day a human being will naturally pass through high and low brainwave states. It is totally normal. The difference between casual trance and intentional trance created through hypnosis is that a trained practitioner is guiding the process with appropriately crafted suggestions.​

Will you make me cluck like a chicken?

ONLY IF you WANT to cluck like a chicken.  During the hypnotic state you cannot be made to do anything you aren’t already interested in doing. You retain free will at all times. Also, and importantly, it would be highly unethical to ask a client to do something dangerous, crazy or obviously embarrassing and, at Proceed, being ethical is top of mind.
